Introduction of Tuen Ma Line
Tuen Ma Line was fully opened in 2021-06-27. This line is formed by many railway projects, those include West Rail Line (Opened in 2003, known as KCR West Rail before KCR-MTR merger, and has 9 stations from Tuen Mun To Nam Cheong), the East Rail Line Tsim Sha Tsui extension (Opened in 2004, known as the KCR East Rail, and has 1 station extended from Hung Hom To East Tsim Sha Tsui), Ma On Shan Line (Opened in 2004, known as the KCR Ma On Shan Rail, and has 9 stations from Wu Kai Sha To Tai Wai), Kowloon Southern Link (Opened in 2009, it was a 3 station extension from West Rail Line Nam Cheong Station to Hung Hom Station, and the East Rail Line Tsim Sha Tsui extension was given to the West Rail Line), Tuen Ma Line Phase 1 (Opened in 2020, it was a 3 station extension from Ma On Shan Line Tai Wai Station to Kai Tak Station, and Ma On Shan Line became Tuen Ma Line Phase 1), and Tuen Ma Line Phase 2 (Opened in 2021, it was a 3 station long link from to connect Tuen Ma Line Phase 1 and West Rail Line to become Tuen Ma Line). Tuen Ma Line has 27 stations and has a length of 56km. It is the longest railway line in Hong Kong.

Introduction of West Rail Line
The KCR West Rail opened in 2004 with 9 stations. 4-car trains were operated until 2016-2017. In 2009, the line was extended to Hung Hom with 3 new stations, the full length became 36km. In 2017, 8-car trains were introduced to this line. The line has become a part of Tuen Ma Line after 2020-06-27.

Introduction of Ma On Shan Line
The KCR Ma On Shan Rail opened in 2004 with 9 stations and 11.4km of tracks. 4-car trains were operated until 2016-2017. In 2016-2017, 8-car trains were introduced to this line. In 2020, the line became Tuen Ma Line Phase 1 with new 3 stations. The line has become a part of Tuen Ma Line after 2020-06-27.
