The phase 3 vehicles were built in 1996 by United Goninan (Now UGL Rail) in Australia. The car numbers are 1091-1110, in total of 20 vehicles. Phase 3 vehicles use VVVF motors and green LED route display, which were the first time of the whole LRT network. As phase 3 trains operate differently from phase 1 and 2 trains, phase 3 trains can only connect to phase 3 and phase 4 trains. However, even phase 4 trains has similar technical design to phase 3 train, they don't connect in everyday service as the colour of the 2 trains are mismatched. The air conditioner of number 1091 vehicle burnt down in the end of 2013. The vehicle didn't get repair till the start of 2016. With approximately 5 months of repair, the vehicles finally get back to service around autumn of 2016. These trains might get refurbishment in 2017-2018 and might couple with phase 4 trains for daily service. All photos are arranged from left to right and top to bottom. Some of the photos are marked as "No photo available currently", as I didn't have a chance to photograph that vehicle.
